Happy Diwali – Hindu Festival of Light
Diwali (Lakshmi Pujan/Amavasya) is the darkest night of the year according to Hindu ancient traditions and ancestors who taught to overcome darkness with light. When the moon is not shining, neither the sun ( new moon), the sky is dark, so one needs to find ones inner light and be it. One does Pujas ( offering ceremonies) during this festival especially to Maa Laxmi (a Divine Mother) to ask for good luck and a flow of abundance.
One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, it spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair.
